Sad to be saying this about a local supplier, but please tread very carefully if considering buying from this company. Exactly 2 years ago, Lynas fitted carpets throughout my parents new apartment. It was a substantial order, however the fitting service was wholly unsatisfactory and we lodged a complaint at the time regarding the quality of fitting and customer service. Unfortunately that was not the end of our disappointment.
A few months ago, serious carpet staining starting to appear in numerous places in the flat. The staining included unusual sweeps and curls. Lynas rep visited and claimed it was spillage by us. I challenged this, given the stains were in numerous places and were defined shapes rather than spots. Lynas then back peddled on the spillage claim and provided cleaning instructions to try and remove the stains.
I followed these instructions, which were temporarily effective. Within one month however the same stains are reappearing. When I reported this to Lynas, their response was simply its not a manufacturing issue, its not a fitting issue, its a customer issue! So no explanation of why the carpets in multiple rooms are now completely worthless after 2 years. As someone who volunteers and who is very focussed on buying local, I find the lack of curiosity, empathy, honesty and respect deeply disappointing. So please take care as this organisation sells well, but cares nothing after the money is in the bank.
